2. For what purpose and on what basis do we process your data?

  • Sending the newsletter – Marketing information about products, activities, events, promotions and the gaming community.
    Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – the controller’s legitimate interests (i.e. marketing to individuals who have given their consent under Article 398 of the Electronic Communications Act).
  • Analysis of newsletter statistics – opens, clicks, unopened – to improve the content of communications.
    Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – the data controller’s legitimate interest (improving the quality of services)
  • Analysis of activity on the website (to which links in the newsletter direct users)
    Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR (consent given via the cookie consent management system).
  • Defence against claims and documentation of consents
    Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – legitimate interests of the controller (protection against claims and archiving).

3. What data do we process and is its provision voluntary?

We process only the data you have voluntarily provided to us and the data generated automatically when you subscribe to and use the newsletter:

  • Email address and – data derived from the address such as first name and surname (providing this data is voluntary, but necessary to establish and maintain communication),
  • Date and time of subscription and confirmation of the subscription click,
  • Data on whether the newsletter was opened, clicked on or not opened, for analysis and statistical purposes.

4. How long do we store your data?

  • Active subscriber: For the entire duration of the subscription (until consent is withdrawn or you unsubscribe).
  • After unsubscribing: Max. 1 year – solely for evidential purposes and to defend against claims (the newsletter will no longer be sent out).

5. Who else has access to your data?

Your data may be transferred to:

  • entities that provide us with technical support for the newsletter — platforms/applications for content processing, dispatch handling and subscriber list management,
  • hosting and IT infrastructure providers, email service providers,
  • our professional advisers (solicitors, auditors) – for the purpose of analysing and defending against claims,
  • to public authorities – in accordance with the relevant legal provisions.

6. Can your data be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA)?

We endeavour to process data exclusively within the EEA. 
If we use suppliers from outside the EEA, we will ensure an adequate level of security by:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or
  • Transferring data only to a country covered by a decision confirming an adequate level of protection.

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing and we do not use profiling.

  • The right to withdraw consent – at any time, without giving a reason (without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal of consent),
  • The right to object (to processing based on the controller’s legitimate interests),
  • The right to access your personal data,
  • The right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing,
  • The right to data portability for data processed on the basis of consent or a contract,

The service is provided for an indefinite period, until the subscriber unsubscribes from the newsletter or until we cease to provide the service, in which case you will be notified in advance.

Subscribers are obliged not to engage in any unlawful activities or any actions that interfere with the proper provision of the service.
